A little bit

About Me

In 2018, I obtained a Masters degree in Experimental Surgery from the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Vincent Biron. During this degree, I researched the efficacy of novel epigenetic chemotherapeutics on HPV-positive and negative head and neck cancers. Following my degree, I continued working under Dr. Biron as a Research Assistant where I discovered coding and the informatics fields.

Currently living in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia, I am a third year standing Computer Science student at the University of Victoria and have recently been accepted into the School of Health Information Science's graduate degree program. During my time at the University of Victoria, I aim to continue researching novel strategies to combat head and neck cancer as well as develop novel methods to improve access to surgical specialists for those in at-risk communities.
